CARES-Live 2.8.14 Production Release - July 29, 2021| 6:00PM – 9:00PM
ALL SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
EFFECTIVE July 29, 2021, CARES-Live 2.8.14 HOTFIX IS SCHEDULED TO MOVE INTO PRODUCTION.
The CARES-Live team has scheduled release activity that will interrupt connectivity to the CARES-Live application. The release activity will begin at 6:00PM on Thursday, July 29, 2021, and conclude at 9:00PM. During this scheduled outage, users will not be able to access the CARES-Live application.
The goal of this release is to provide fixes and maintenance needed in Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS), and Identity Management.
- County Jurisdiction – County received an error in CANS that an assessment is under jurisdiction of another county and could not open the original CANS when a referral was received on one of the minors in the case. The application has been updated to ensure that the county jurisdiction/assignment will come from the current case, not a referral. (#INC0021212 & INC0021238). This fix initially implemented with 2.8.13 has been revised to resolve this issue properly.
- RACF ID Invalidation – The application has been updated to resolve an issue that caused some CARES-Live users to be invalidated incorrectly.
- Change Log Not Visible – Office and County Admins will be able to see the Account Invalidated Event in the Change Log.
If users experience any issues with CARES-Live Training Environment, please follow your county process for reporting issues, or you may contact the CARES Service Desk at 1-855-292-3444 or via email at Servicedesk@cwds.ca.gov during normal business hours. You may also email after hours and a Service Desk representative will contact you the next business day.
