CWS-CARES Facility Search - Retrieving issue – UPDATE

To all SPOCS and Technical Contacts:

  1. 2 Update: Effective May 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. today the CWDS Office has elected to perform the following actions in order to reduce the risk of county staff that use Facilities Search and are not getting complete complaint information.
  1. Facility Search Users access will be disabled.
  2. CARES Administrator access to the Managed Users application will be disabled. CARES Administrators should contact the CARES Service Desk if they need to add any new users to CANS.

CARES users will still be able to access CANS.

This issue is still outstanding and remains being worked on by the CWDS development team. Further updates will be provided as progress is made to address the scenario.

Issue 2- Facility Search & Profile is experiencing issues with respect to retrieving all available complaints that may exist for Homes or Facilities. CWDS is working with CDSS to address the issue and are advising users who are utilizing complaint results to cease until the issue has been addressed.

Action Required

CWS-CARES Administrators should contact the CARES Service Desk if they need to provide CANS access to CARES users.
