The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live Training Environment on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This scheduled maintenance will be transparent to users. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live Training Environment during the scheduled outage.

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live application. The maintenance is scheduled for Monday, June 20, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. During this scheduled maintenance the CARES-Live team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CARES-Live users. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live application during the scheduled outage.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin - CGEN Vendor Verizon Scheduled Maintenance – June 11, 2022| 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM


All SPOCs and Technical Contacts in Mariposa County:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Saturday, June 11, 2022, beginning at 12:00 Midnight and concluding at 6:00 AM. Users at the listed site will experience up to a sixty-minute interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CARES-Live within the scheduled Verizon maintenance window.
Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live Training Environment on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This scheduled maintenance is to upgrade the Training Environment to the CARES-Live AWS AMI2 OS / Kubernetes version. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live Training Environment during the scheduled outage. The impact from this release is limited to back-end system support. The changes will be transparent to CARES-Live users.

CWS-CARES Scheduled Maintenance – May 20, 2022 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

All Pilot County RFA Implementation Coordinators and SPOCs:
The CWS-CARES team has scheduled maintenance activity for the CWS-CARES production environment for Friday, May 20, 2022, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. During the maintenance window, the CWS-CARES Resource Family Approval (RFA) Application Submission, Review, and Approval Process will remain accessible for pilot counties Contra Costa, Fresno, Placer, Riverside, and Santa Clara.

However, Document Upload and Retrieval functionality will not be available for CWS-CARES users during this maintenance window.

CARES-Live Training Environment Scheduled Maintenance – May 9, 2022| 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM

All SPOCs and Training Contacts:
The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live Training Environment on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. This scheduled maintenance will be transparent to users and no outage is required. The Training Environment refresh schedule will be modified to suspend the 12:30 PM daily refresh. The daily 3:40 AM Training Environment refresh will continue as normal.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – Upgrade Software on Citrix infrastructure in CCS Domain– May 7, 2022| 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

All SPOCs, Technical Contacts, and SBC Administrators:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled an upgrade on Saturday, May 7, 2022, beginning at 6:00 AM and concluding at 2:30 PM. Any active sessions should not be affected; redundant servers are in place. However, intermittent disruption of connectivity is possible during the maintenance window. CDT asks that everyone log off from the Citrix SBC system if not actively using it during the maintenance window.

However, the RFA Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports will not be available for CWS-CARES users during this maintenance window.

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled security patching of the CalCloud Windows servers. The patching window begins on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 7:00 PM and concludes on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 06:00 AM. The patching activity will cause intermittent interruptions in connectivity to the CWDS website (https://cwds.ca.gov), the CWS/CMS website (https://www.hwcws.cahwnet.gov/) and the CWS/CMS Portals website (https://cwscms.osi.ca.gov/) during the patching window.

Users at the listed site (26500 South Mooney Boulevard, Visalia, CA) will experience up to a thirty-minute interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CARES-Live within the scheduled AT&T maintenance window.
Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.
