The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live application. The maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During this scheduled maintenance the CARES-Live team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CARES-Live users. There will be no impact or outage to the CARES-Live application during the maintenance window.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – WAN Router Operating System Update, April 9, 2020 | 12:01 AM – 2:00 AM

To all County CWS SPOCs and Technical Contacts:

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Thursday, April 9, 2020, beginning at 12:01 AM and concluding at 02:00 AM. Because the maintenance is being performed on a redundant path, CWS/CMS and CWS-CARES users are not expected to be impacted by this scheduled maintenance. This bulletin is being shared as an ‘FYI only’ in the unlikely case an issue does arise.

Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

FYI only. No action for CWS/CMS or CWS-CARES is expected.

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Saturday, March 28, 2020, beginning at 12:01 AM and concluding at 6:00 AM. Users at the listed sites will experience a two-hour interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CARES-Live within the scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) window.

Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 and also on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. The maintenance window for each maintenance begins at 12:01 AM and concludes at 5:00 AM. Users at the listed sites will experience a one-hour interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CARES-Live within each of the two scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) windows.

Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live application. The maintenance window is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at 9:00 PM. During the scheduled outage users will not be able to access the CARES-Live application.

Users at the listed sites will experience an interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CARES-Live for the entire seven-hour scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) window.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – CalCloud Windows Tenant Patching- February 28-29, 2020| 7:00 PM-6:00 AM

To All County CWS and Probation SPOCs and Technical Contacts:

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled security patching of the CalCloud Windows servers. The patching window begins on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 7:00 PM and concludes on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 06:00 AM. The patching activity will cause intermittent interruptions in connectivity to the CWS/CMS website (https://www.hwcws.cahwnet.gov/) and the CWS/CMS Portals website (https://cwscms.osi.ca.gov/) during the patching window.

No disruption in connectivity is anticipated for the CWDS website (http://cwds.ca.gov/).
