California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – “Emergency” CGEN Vendor Verizon Scheduled Maintenance – December 10, 2019| 12:01AM- 06:00AM
To all County CWS SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, beginning at 12:01 AM and concluding at 06:00 AM. Because the maintenance is being performed on a back-up path, CWS/CMS and CWS-CARES users are not expected to be impacted by this scheduled maintenance. This bulletin is being shared as an ‘FYI only’ in the unlikely case an issue does arise.
Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.
FYI only. No action for CWS/CMS or CWS-CARES is expected.

To all SPOC’s and Technical Contact’s:
The California Department of Social Services has scheduled maintenance for LIS that will impact the CWS-CARES application. The maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM. There will be no access to the CWS-CARES application during the maintenance window.

To all CWS-CARES Users:
CDSS is performing updates to the Staging environment on April 11, 2019 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Facility Search & Profile will be impacted by this change and will be unavailable.
No other digital services will be impacted.
All CWS-CARES Users:
The CWS-CARES team will be refreshing the DB2, LIS, and FAS databases in Staging with a new set of production data based on a snapshot taken on 2/16. The Staging environment will not be available from Wednesday February 20, 2019 4:00 PM to Friday February 22, 2019 8:00 AM while the refresh activities are being performed.
