Hypercare is the period of heightened support and monitoring following the implementation or launch of a new system. This is needed to ensure the smooth transition from project completion to steady-state operations. Hypercare typically lasts from a few weeks to a few months, until the new system or process stabilizes and the organization is confident in its performance. For CARES, Hypercare will last for at least 30 days and will end at system acceptance. The system will be eligible for acceptance when it operates for 30 consecutive days in compliance with the specifications, including all performance requirements, with no Level 1 or 2 Deficiencies.
