A Staff Services Manager oversees and manages functions within an organization, often acting as a first-level supervisor and/or subject matter expert. This role may involve supervising a team of analysts, specializing in a complex or critical area of expertise. They may contribute directly with planning partners, policy enforcement, and oversight stakeholders from various federal and state agencies.    The manager series describes three levels of complexity (I. II, or III and focuses on a wide variety of fiscal, management, specialist and staff functions including but not limited to personnel, budget, administration, planning, policy analysis and legislation.
