Q: Is the Court Order Number the Salesforce number for that court order?

A: The Court Order Number is related to the court order that requires the screening, referral, or case to be sealed.

Q: Are all the functions of the Binti Family Finding module session (3/26/26) available for CWS-CARES V1 Family Finding functionality?

A: Yes, all the functions of Binti Family Finding are in CWS-CARES V1. Process documentation for CWS-CARES V1 Family Finding functionality is anticipated to be available in the online training tool Enablement, with Production Simulation.

Q: What is the purpose of the 'age group' section?

A: The age group is available to identify what ages a worker might be best suited to work with, it is not a required field.

Q: Are there any plans for a visitation module in CWS-CARES?

A: Yes, visitation will be included in CWS-CARES. We are planning the ability to document data related to visits attended, cancelled, and rescheduled. We are also including the ability to document a visitation quality rating based upon the SDM definitions of visitation quality. Scheduling visits will not be part of CWS-CARES in this first version. However, we will include the ability to document and track efforts to schedule visitation.

Q: Is there going to be any capacity for CWS-CARES to line to any phone systems (i.e., will CARES interface with phone lines)?

A: No. This is not in the scope of CWS-CARES V1 or V2.

Q: Does the CWS-CARES documentation state who can see the 'worker note' comments?

A: Yes, the 'worker note' section is only available to the Admin and Supervisor.

Q: Can both Supervisors and Administrators transfer caseloads?

A: Yes, Supervisors and Administrators can both transfer caseloads.

Q: Are the Offices in CWS/CMS automatically getting transferred over to CWS-CARES?

A: Yes, current office and staff information will be migrated from CWS/CMS to CWS-CARES.

Q: Will the system time stamp work completed in the system that supervisors can review?

A: CWS-CARES V1 will include a repository of completed work, with date and time of completion. CWS-CARES V1 will also support supervisor review and approval workflows. The CWS-CARES Data Infrastructure (CDI) will record all data changes (create, update, and delete transactions) to support supervision, auditing, and analytics.

Q: Will CWS-CARES need networking hardware or will it be internet based?

A: CWS-CARES is internet based and we will provide a Technical Resource document that details all of the hardware and software requirements.
