Q: How will I register for training before participating in CWS-CARES Production Simulation?

A: Enablement based training material will be available for Production Simulation environment. Once it is available, the training for Production Simulation will be self-paced/in-app guidance with Enablement, there will not be training that requires registration.

A: Initial training materials will be available at the beginning of Production Simulation Phase 1. Additional training materials will be available when they become available.

A: Training materials will include Welcome to CARES Framework & Navigation (15 minutes), EUST 3 General Training Videos from Day 1 and 2 (Over 6 hours of recordings), and EUST 3 Training Guide – A Foundation for Learning CWS-CARES Functionality from Screening to a Case.

A: You can visit the CWS-CARES Production Simulation Hub which will provide key announcements, meeting links and invitations, meeting materials and recordings, and supplemental materials. You can join the two daily Production Simulation Support Office Hour sessions (10:00am-11:00am & 2:00pm-3:00pm) to assist users with questions and user issues related to the Production Simulation environment. You can send an email to your regional Production Simulation support team Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Q: What support will be available during CWS-CARES Production Simulation?

A: Tier 2 will provide Production Simulation support to all users in Phase 1. Support includes two User Access Office Hour sessions at the start of Phase 1 to assist users with login and account-related issues, two daily Production Simulation Support Office Hour sessions (10:00am-11:00am & 2:00pm-3:00pm) to assist users with questions and user issues related to the Production Simulation environment, and daily email support available Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

To provide the best support possible, Tier 2 Production Simulation support will be split into six regions (Bay Area, Central, Northern, Southern, Los Angeles, and Mountain Valley). Each region will receive dedicated Tier 2 support to assist with the counties and organizations in the region. All Tier 2 support activities will be organized and supported by Tier 2 in the region. In addition, each region will have dedicated email mailbox used to facilitate communications.
