Q: Is training and Enablement only available in the training environment, and how does that work for trainers and learners?
A: Enablement will be available prior to Go-Live in Production Simulation, and the training environment will be used for classroom training. Following Go-Live, Production Simulation will no longer be available, and Enablement will continue in the training environment.
Q: Will On-Demand training curriculum be assigned based on roles?
A: Yes — On Demand is role based.
Q: How will training be handled for staff who hold multiple roles and need to take multiple courses?
A: The unique training needs of each Organization, including the needs of individuals with multiple roles, will be discussed during the Organization CWS-CARES Training Logistics Planning Meetings.
Q: When will counties be able to review the curriculum?
A: The current timeline has organizations reviewing Instructor-Led Training (ILT) curriculum beginning in early June.
Q: Who will train the Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)?
A: All end users will receive training based on the courses identified in the Training Curriculum Assignment Spreadsheet. Instruction will be delivered by either the CWS-CARES Training Team or a County Train-the-Trainer (TTT), if the county chooses to use its TTT in that capacity.
Q: When will counties have Training environment access / trainer enablement?
A: The On-Demand training environment will be hosted in Production Simulation, and the training environment will be used during Instructor-Led Training (ILT). Participants will gain access at the time of training.
Q: Where will On-Demand training be hosted and accessed from?
A: The On-Demand training environment will be hosted in Production Simulation. The training environment will be used during Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and participants will gain access at the time of training.
Q: Will counties be able to track completion and usage of On-Demand training through reports or dashboards, and who will have access?
A: CWS-CARES Training Coordinators will work with Organization Training Coordinators to determine the cadence of reports needed to monitor registration and course completion. Organization Training Coordinators also have access to the Learning Management System (LMS) to retrieve the reports they need.
Q: Will On-Demand training content be available before, during, and after the 12-week training window, and how long will it remain available?
A: The current timeline has On-Demand beginning mid-June and closing at the beginning of October.
Q: Will On-Demand modules be mapped to the same role-based curriculum used for Instructor-Led Training (ILT)?
A: On-Demand roles have preset courses associated with them. The CWS-CARES Team will work with organizations to identify additional courses needed for individuals registered for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions whose role is not listed among the target audience.
