Emergency CWS/CMS Hot Fix R9.1.2 - UPDATE

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
August 24, 2023 UPDATE: IBM plans to stage the MSI file for the R9.1.2 hot fix tonight, August 24, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
Dedicated Counties:
IBM will push the R9.1.2 code to workstations at 7:00 PM tonight. REMINDER: Users will need to log out and then back into Windows to receive the hot fix code.
Co-Existent Counties:
Co-Existent Counties can install the R9.1.2 code to their workstations anytime after the MSI file has been staged.  REMINDER:  The R9.1.2 hot fix is an entirely optional release, just like R9.1.1. The change in this release will correct the header errors that were introduced with the R9.1.1 release.

An issue has been discovered with CWS/CMS Release 9.1.1 (R9.1.1). Changes introduced for R9.1.1 modified code that has impacted some forms that were not included as part of the release. It has caused the Superior Court details to populate incorrectly in the header of those forms. Please NOTE: templates modified specifically for R9.1.1 are not impacted and are working correctly. IBM has identified a fix and is in the process of testing it now.
Pending the testing results, IBM is proposing to implement emergency Hot Fix R9.1.2 as early as midday on Thursday, August 24, 2023. A follow-up communication will be sent out as soon as the date and time of the hot fix has been determined.
Dedicated Counties:
When the implementation time has arrived for R9.1.2, IBM will push the code to the Dedicated County workstations. Users will need to log out and then back into Windows to receive the hot fix.
Co-Existent Counties:
R9.1.2 is an optional release. After the determined implementation date and time has arrived, IBM will stage the R9.1.2 MSI code in the usual folder. Co-Existent Counties can then choose to push out the code to their workstations or leave the MSI file to the current version until mandatory release R9.2 on September 16, 2023. However, if R9.1.1 has already been implemented, then the issues with the form template headers will continue to exist until either R9.1.2 or R9.2 has been implemented.
Until the emergency hot fix is implemented, IBM has identified a workaround for R9.1.1 users impacted by the altered forms.
Workaround:
Counties that are already using R9.1.1 will need to manually validate and update the Superior Court details in the form template headers, until the fix is implemented.

Action Required
Manually validate and update, if needed, the Superior Court details in form template headers altered with R9.1.1.
