Scheduled CWS/CMS Portals Website Maintenance - Oct. 19, 2022 | 5PM-6PM

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The CWDS Office, working with the California Department of Technology (CDT), will perform necessary maintenance on the CWS/CMS Portals website’s server. The maintenance window will occur on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. This maintenance will require a reboot of the server, causing the CWS/CMS Portals website to be inaccessible for a moment within the maintenance window.
Action Required
If users experience any issues with the CWS/CMS Portals website, please follow your county process for reporting issues or you may contact the IBM Boulder Help Desk at 1-800-428-8268.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – SBCS Infrastructure Servers Security Patching – October 29, 2022| 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

All SPOCs, Technical Contacts, and SBC Administrators:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Saturday, October 29, 2022, beginning at 6:00 AM and concluding at 10:00 AM.  During the maintenance window, CDT will apply Standard Monthly OS Security Patches to SBCS Infrastructure Servers. There is no anticipated outage for this maintenance; however, CDT is asking that everyone log off from the Citrix SBC system, if not actively using it during the maintenance window.

CWS-CARES Users
If users experience any issues with CARES-Live, please follow your county process for reporting issues. CARES-Live County Administrators may contact the CARES Service Desk through the CWDS ServiceNow Customer Support Management (CSM) Portal. California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – Secure Automated File Exchange (SAFE) Cloud Service – Scheduled Maintenance

ALL SPOCs, Technical Contacts and CAD Contacts:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance of the SAFE Cloud service.  The maintenance begins on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 8:00 PM and concludes on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 2:00 AM. The activity will cause interruptions in the SAFE Cloud service. Some Business Objects (BO) reports will fail to send or automated scripts may fail to retrieve from SAFE during this scheduled maintenance.

Action Required
All users should logoff of the SAFE Cloud service prior to the start of the stated maintenance timeframe. Please check on your scheduled BO SAFE reports and automated FTP scripts. If needed, re-run the reports and scripts.
 
Contact the IBM Help Desk (800-428-8268) to report any issues with your Business Objects content in SAFE.

 

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – CalCloud Windows Tenant Patching - September 30 – October 1, 2022| 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled security patching of the CalCloud Windows servers. The patching window begins on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 7:00 PM and concludes on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 06:00 AM. The patching activity will cause intermittent interruptions in connectivity to the CWDS website and the CWS/CMS Portals website during the patching window

If users experience any issues with the CWDS website or the CWS/CMS Portals website, please follow your county process for reporting issues or you may contact the IBM Boulder Help Desk at 1-800-428-8268.

 

CARES-Live Scheduled Maintenance - September 29, 2022| 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance for the CARES-Live application. The maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. During this scheduled maintenance the CARES-Live team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CARES-Live users. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live application during the scheduled outage.

CARES-Live County Administrators may contact the CARES Service Desk through the CWDS ServiceNow Customer Support Management (CSM) Portal. CWS-CARES Scheduled Maintenance – September 27, 2022 | 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

All Pilot County RFA Implementation Coordinators and SPOCs:
The CWS-CARES team has scheduled maintenance activity for the CWS-CARES production environment for Tuesday, September 27, 2022, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. During the maintenance window, the CWS-CARES Resource Family Approval (RFA) Application Submission, Review, and Approval Process will remain accessible for pilot counties Contra Costa, Fresno, Placer, Riverside, and Santa Clara.
However, the RFA Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports will not be available for CWS-CARES users during this maintenance window.

During this maintenance, the CARES-Live team will focus on application changes that are not visible to CARES-Live users. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live application during the scheduled outage.

UPDATE : The Maintenance will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 5:00 PM and concludes at 7:00 PM.

All Dedicated County SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The CWDS Infrastructure Team will perform maintenance on a Dedicated County State Proxy on Monday, August 29, 2022. The maintenance window begins at 5:00 PM and concludes at 7:00 PM. Dedicated County users are not expected to experience a loss of service (internet access) during the update activities. Concurrent Counties are not affected by this maintenance.
