All Pilot County RFA Implementation Coordinators and SPOCs:
The CWS-CARES team has scheduled maintenance activity for the CWS-CARES production environment for Friday, April 29, 2022, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 9:00 PM. During the maintenance window, the CWS-CARES Resource Family Approval (RFA) Application Submission, Review, and Approval Process will remain accessible for pilot counties Contra Costa, Fresno, Placer, Riverside, and Santa Clara.
However, the RFA Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports will not be available for CWS-CARES users during this maintenance window.

CWS-CARES County Administrators may contact the CARES Service Desk through the CWDS ServiceNow Customer Support Management (CSM) Portal. California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – CalCloud Windows Tenant Patching, April 29-April 30, 2022| 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled security patching of the CalCloud Windows servers. The patching window begins on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 7:00 PM and concludes on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 06:00 AM. The patching activity will cause intermittent interruptions in connectivity to the CWDS website, the CWS/CMS website and the CWS/CMS Portals website during the patching window.

Action Required
If users experience any issues with the CWDS website, the CWS/CMS website, or the CWS/CMS Portals website please follow your county process for reporting issues or you may contact the IBM Boulder Help Desk at 1-800-428-8268.

 

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin - CGEN Vendor AT&T Scheduled Maintenance, April 29, 2022| 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM

All SPOCs and Technical Contacts in Tulare County:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Friday, April 29, 2022, beginning at 12:00 Midnight and concluding at 6:00 AM. Users at the listed site (26500 South Mooney Boulevard, Visalia, CA) will experience up to a thirty-minute interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CARES-Live within the scheduled AT&T maintenance window.
Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

Frequency: Monthly - 2nd Saturday (Exception - not performed in February, May, August and November.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – Upgrade Software on Citrix infrastructure in CCS Domain – April 9, 2022| 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Reminder

All SPOCs, Technical Contacts, and SBC Administrators:
The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled an upgrade on Saturday, April 9, 2022, beginning at 6:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM. During the maintenance window, a possible intermittent disruption of connectivity. Redundant servers are in place. Any active sessions should not be affected. CDT asks that everyone log off from the Citrix SBC system if not actively using it during the maintenance window.

The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live Training Environment on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This scheduled maintenance is to upgrade the Training Environment to the CARES-Live 2.8.18 version. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live Training Environment during the scheduled outage.
