California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – CGEN Vendor AT&T Scheduled Maintenance, Tuesday, April 23, 2019| 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM

To the CWS/CMS SPOC and Technical Contact in Solano County:

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, beginning at 12:00 AM and concluding at 5:00 AM. Users at the listed site may experience up to a thirty-minute interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CWS-CARES within the scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) window.

Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

CWS-CARES Scheduled Maintenance April 15, 2019| 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM

To all SPOC’s and Technical Contacts:

The CWS-CARES team has scheduled maintenance to the CWS-CARES application. The maintenance is scheduled for Monday, April 15, 2019 from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM. During this scheduled maintenance the CWS-CARES team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CWS-CARES users. There will be no access to the CWS-CARES application during the maintenance window.

The CWS-CARES team has scheduled maintenance to the CWS-CARES application. The maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 07:30 PM to 09:30 PM. During this scheduled maintenance the CWS-CARES team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CWS-CARES users. There will be no access to the CWS-CARES application during the maintenance window.

To all CWS-CARES Users:

CDSS is performing updates to the Staging environment on April 11, 2019 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Facility Search & Profile will be impacted by this change and will be unavailable.

No other digital services will be impacted.

CWS-CARES Scheduled Maintenance in Staging Environment: April 2, 2019| 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

The CWS-CARES team will be updating the Staging environment today Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. During this time Facility Search & Profile will be unavailable. All other services will be available.

CWS-CARES 2.2.4 Production Release Facility Search and Profile 1.1.4 Hotfix, March 30, 2019| 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM

To All SPOCs and Technical Contacts

EFFECTIVE MARCH 30, 2019 CWS-CARES 2.2.4 PRODUCTION RELEASE IS SCHEDULED TO MOVE INTO PRODUCTION.

The CWS-CARES team has scheduled release activity that will interrupt connectivity to the CWS-CARES application. The release activity will begin at 06:00 AM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 and conclude at 04:00PM. During this scheduled outage users will not be able to access the CWS-CARES application.

CWS-CARES 2.2.4 Hotfix:

Facility Search and Profile Release 1.1.4

  • Improve incremental loading of data from LIS and CWS/CMS to CWS-CARES
    • The incremental loading of data from legacy systems into CWS-CARES would occasionally hang. This means that updates from CWS/CMS were not seen in CWS-CARES applications, such as Facility Search & Profile and Identity Management, as quickly as expected.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – Network Switch Maintenance - UPDATE

To CWS SPOC and Technical Contact in Tulare County:

UPDATE: The network switch maintenance scheduled for by the California Department of Technology (CDT) for March 3, 2019 did not complete in some counties and needs to be rescheduled. The date to complete the rescheduled maintenance is Wednesday, April 3, 2019, beginning at 4:00 AM and concluding at 6:30 AM. Users at sites in the listed counties may experience multiple thirty (30) minute interruptions in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CWS-CARES within the scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) window.

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled network switch maintenance on Sunday, March 3, 2019, beginning at 4:00 AM and concluding at 7:00 AM. Users at sites in the listed counties may experience multiple thirty-minute interruptions in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CWS-CARES within the scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) window.

Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.
