To all SPOC’s and Technical Contacts:

The CWS-CARES team has scheduled maintenance to the CWS-CARES application. The maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 05:00PM to 07:00PM. During this scheduled maintenance the CWS-CARES team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CWS-CARES users. There will be no access to the CWS-CARES application during the maintenance window.

Action Required

If users experience any issues with CWS-CARES, please follow your county process for reporting issues or you may contact the CARES Service Desk at 1-855-292-3444.

California Department of Technology Service Desk Bulletin – CGEN Vendor AT&T Scheduled Maintenance, Tuesday, April 23, 2019| 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM

To the CWS/CMS SPOC and Technical Contact in Solano County:

The California Department of Technology (CDT) has scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, beginning at 12:00 AM and concluding at 5:00 AM. Users at the listed site may experience up to a thirty-minute interruption in connectivity to CWS/CMS and CWS-CARES within the scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) window.

Remote access (e.g., Server Based Computing [SBC]) to the CWS/CMS application will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance.

CWS-CARES Users

During this scheduled maintenance the CWS-CARES team will focus on application maintenance changes that are not visible to CWS-CARES users. There will be no access to the CWS-CARES application during the maintenance window.

Facility Search and Profile Outage in CWS-CARES Staging, April 11, 2019| 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

To all CWS-CARES Users:

CDSS is performing updates to the Staging environment on April 11, 2019 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Facility Search & Profile will be impacted by this change and will be unavailable.

No other digital services will be impacted.

CWS-CARES Scheduled Maintenance in Staging Environment: April 2, 2019| 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

To all CWS-CARES Users:

The CWS-CARES team will be updating the Staging environment today Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. During this time Facility Search & Profile will be unavailable. All other services will be available.

CWS-CARES 2.2.4 Production Release Facility Search and Profile 1.1.4 Hotfix, March 30, 2019| 06:00 AM – 04:00 PM

To All SPOCs and Technical Contacts

EFFECTIVE MARCH 30, 2019 CWS-CARES 2.2.4 PRODUCTION RELEASE IS SCHEDULED TO MOVE INTO PRODUCTION.

The CWS-CARES team has scheduled release activity that will interrupt connectivity to the CWS-CARES application. The release activity will begin at 06:00 AM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 and conclude at 04:00PM. During this scheduled outage users will not be able to access the CWS-CARES application.

CWS-CARES 2.2.4 Hotfix:

Facility Search and Profile Release 1.1.4

  • Improve incremental loading of data from LIS and CWS/CMS to CWS-CARES
    • The incremental loading of data from legacy systems into CWS-CARES would occasionally hang. This means that updates from CWS/CMS were not seen in CWS-CARES applications, such as Facility Search & Profile and Identity Management, as quickly as expected.
